Sonoma-Cutrer Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley, 2007

The classic aromas of blackberry, raspberry and black currant are accented with anise, black pepper, sweet pip tobacco, cinnamon spice and cola. Rich depth and good acidity bring a balance to the full body and medium tannins, which leads into a nice lengthy finish. Red fruit flavors of raspberry, cherry and pomegranate are accented with pepper, all spice and fresh herbs and earthy notes of mushrooms and moist soil.

Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast, 2008

This wine has all the elements of a classic chardonnay. The fruit aromas of fresh sliced apple and Asian pear are complimented with citrus notes of lime zest, grapefruit and Meyer lemon and a floral touch of honeysuckle and orange blossom. In the mouth, it is lush, round and creamy with support from a firm acid structure that creates excellent balance. Fruit flavors of lemon curd, lime, Asian pear and baked apple fold into shortbread, candied pecans and marmalade that are touched with toasty oak before the

long finish of sweet key lime.

Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay, Les Pierres, 2006

Les Pierres’ color is a fine yellow gold, with perfect clarity, and presents aromas of kiwi, star fruit, lemongrass, white pepper, golden delicious apple, lychee, toasted nuts and nougat with the familiar flinty lava dust and mineral notes that are a defining characteristic of the Les Pierres vineyard. It embodies earthy flavors of Meyer lemon, kiwi, raw sugar, and cardamom with an overlay of toasted bread, oak spice and almond paste. One of Sonoma-Cutrer’s signature wines, Les Pierres is more austere than their

cuvees and will show new faces for many vintages to come.
