Siobhan Royer-Hardy combines stunning photographs and eloquent editorial
By Tim Branch
Golf aficionados and art lovers alike will be thrilled with the works from the publisher of the 18 Greatest Golf Holes collector edition coffee table books. Art Director Siobhan Royer-Hardy, a graphic designer based in Toulouse, France, directed the intense photo shoots to design the perfectly proportioned pages, covers and slipcases.
Throughout the creation of the limited edition 18 Greatest Irish Golf Holes and 18 Greatest Scottish Golf Holes, Royer-Hardy worked with exclusively commissioned photography from National Geographic regular, John Kernick, an international travel, lifestyle and food photographer based in New York City.
Powerful narrative from the books’ accomplished and award-winning authors ~ Craig Morrison and Andrew Ross ~ takes the reader on a journey through the history of golf in the two countries, along the way profiling the best 18 golf holes each territory has to offer.
The authors of the 18 Greatest…titles arrived at their rankings by way of consensus and by having played most of the golf courses in each country. The collection’s 18 Greatest Irish Golf Holes is prefaced by triple Major winner, Padraig Harrington, and includes interviews with some of the luminaries of the Irish game, including Rory McIlroy, Darren Clarke, Graham McDowell and some of the great golf architects, such as Arnold Palmer, Nick Faldo, Greg Norman and Pat Ruddy.
