By Missy Adams

DRJ Group Inc., the makers of all-natural Stopain® topical analgesics, announced a new awareness and fundraising initiative with the Arthritis Foundation. For the next 12 months, DRJ Group will donate a portion of each Stopain purchase to support the Arthritis Foundation’s mission to address the nation’s most common cause of disability. Additionally, DRJ Group is issuing a just-released video – Stop Pain. Start Dancing. – starring motivational speaker and dancer Judson Laipply. Laipply is best known for his Evolution of Dance video, the most viewed video on YouTube.

“Our company mission is to help chronic pain sufferers manage their pain so they can lead richer, more active lives,” said Bob Miller president and CEO of DRJ Group. “We are proud to support the Arthritis Foundation by using our video to encourage physical activity as a way to manage or prevent arthritis. We hope viewers will forward the video to friends and family to help spread the message that staying active has long-term health benefits.”

The new video features the song “Land of 1,000 Dances” and includes a cast of more than 70 characters. Cameo appearances are made by Patrice Williams, Miss Colorado USA® 2009; Amy David, Miss Wyoming Teen USA® 2009; and DRJ Group’s Bob Miller. The video can be viewed at www.stopain.com.

The video will be used to promote the Arthritis Foundation’s Let’s Move Together campaign, a new movement tied to the organization’s popular Arthritis Walk®.

Arthritis Walk is an annual nationwide event that raises awareness and funds to fight arthritis, the nation’s most common cause of disability. Let’s Move Together is a nationwide movement designed to inspire people to move every day to prevent or treat arthritis. It encourages daily physical activity for better health and participation in local Arthritis Walks.

“Research shows that regular physical activity, including dancing, can help minimize the pain and stiffness of arthritis,” said Scott Walters, group vice president of corporate relations with the Arthritis Foundation. “We are excited to partner with DRJ Group to promote Let’s Move Together and, hopefully, inspire people to remain active as a way to manage joint pain and improve mobility.”

Stopain products include the top-selling spray and roll-on in the topical analgesics category. Stopain can be purchased nationally in over 25,000 independent pharmacies and national chain drug stores, including Walgreens, Walmart, CVS and Rite-Aid Pharmacies, at various retailers’ online sites, and on the Stopain Web site.
