The “give” Program is an annual partnership among Nexcare Bandages, America’s Blood Centers and The American Red Cross that thanks the everyday heroes who donate blood and hopes to inspire others to “give.”  To raise awareness for this important cause, each year ~ leading up to World Blood Donor Day on June 14 ~ Nexcare Bandages creates a limited-edition collection of bandages emblazoned with the word “give” that are distributed through local blood centers across the U.S.

Exclusive for 2011, the new collection is inspired by the latest runway trends, helping show how doing good can look good, too.  This year, the Nexcare give Program will help remind all Americans that saving a life is always in style.  The bandages come in a variety of vibrant and fun patterns including chevron, plaid, gingham and zebra; purchasers will be able to show off their donation during the week of World Blood Donor Day, a time when there’s an even more critical need due to what is known as “summer shortages.”

Additionally, anyone interested can go online to the Nexcare “give” Facebook page to find a local participating blood center, sign-up for additional bandages by mail, and share their personal stories with their friends and the broader “give” community.

Did you know?
