All-natural cough syrup offers something more
Kids experience up to 10 colds a year, but what happens when a child has a cold that isn’t bad enough to stay home from school, but they can’t sleep and have a test the next day? They shouldn’t have to lose the time they snooze ~ or flunk their big exam.
According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, children who do not get the recommended 10-11 hours of sleep each night exhibit poor behavior and perform worse in school.
Zarbee’s cough and cold products recently released the first all-natural cough syrup containing melatonin ~ an all-natural ingredient that promotes peaceful sleep. Formulated from vitamin C, zinc and a blend of dark honeys proven to calm coughs and soothe sore throats, the new Zarbee’s nighttime syrup contains the same effective and safe ingredients with the added benefit of melatonin, so children can rest and recover.

Children should avoid pesticides
It’s impossible to say with certainty that our modern reliance on pesticides is directly causing more of our children to get sick more often, but lots of new research points in that direction. An October 2012 report by Pesticide Action Network North America (PANNA) titled “A Generation in Jeopardy” examines dozens of recent studies and concludes that the influx of pesticides in our society is taking a heavy toll on our kids’ health and intelligence.
There are several ways individuals can minimize pesticide exposures for themselves and their loved ones:
1. Buy organic food whenever possible.
2. Avoid chemical sprays and bug traps inside and out of the home.
3. Steer clear of farms and other agricultural lands that regularly get sprayed with pesticides.
